This is my first time to go to the new Zenses, been to the old one a few times before. The place is a little more discrete and better for friends to have a quiet time to talk and drinks. This time me and a few friends went and we were recommended the tasting menu. There are alot of food and we got really full. First we had some bread and has been informed that it's freshly baked. The tasting menu has some very good dishes ( like 7-9? including soup? )
Since I am not very good with words, I've taken some pictures to show. Pictures worth a thousand words, right? > )
Some that I have to mention is the appetizer, the main dish and the foie gras creme brulee (鵝肝Cream Brulee***** 5 star!!) Which I forgot to take pictures before I take it. ( lol couldn't wait. )
The Pork, very nicely prepared, soft and juicy, with a hint of the favor cooked into it. It's very nice.
The salmon is fresh, and tasting very well, I wish there's more at the same time after the whole set I am glad there wasn't or I'll eat that much more and stuff myself beyond full that much.
The set came with a glass of champagne and a glass of red/white wine.
The service I found had much improved, may be due to the old places too big to notice every customer. This is a very welcome change.
The set's 880 per person. I think it's reasonable given this much dishes and the couple glasses of wine/champagne. Would be around 3-400ish if we ordered non-set. Will go back sometimes when I r around LKF. A worthy recommendation, if you are in the area and in mood for fine place and fine food.
