After finishing an appointment with one of my clients, it was already around 3pm plus and we were feeling abit hungry. Since both of us still have some spare time, we decided to have desserts nearby. We went to 三姐松記糖水 for desserts. They served traditional and western desserts, as well as light snacks etc. Since it was at Sham Shui Po district, their pricing was very affordable.
Papaya soup with snow fungus - This dessert was clear and sweet, absorbing the essence of the snow fungus and papaya. Papaya was boiled till soft and meaty, and snow fungus was soft and smooth.
Yam dumplings soup - As this was not commonly found elsewhere, I ordered for this. Yam taste was strong and sweet, and alot of fillings were inside the dumpling.Dumplings were chewy and smooth. Soup was boiled using ginger, thus it was spicy and sweet, good for this cold weather.
Chocolate lava cake with cookies and cream ice cream - When we break open the lava cake, those melting chocolate started to flow out of it. Chocolate was thick and sweet, with strong cocoa taste. Lava cake was baked till crispy and soft. Cookies and cream ice cream was sweet and hard in texture.
