Hainan Chicken is a must so ordered that.
With every dish served with rice you get to choose chicken oil rice, vegetable rice or plain rice. The Hainan chicken was really good and I loved the portion of rice as I just love carbs.
Each grain of rice was evenly flavoured with fragrant chicken aroma and the chicken itself was very soft and silky.
For the other dish, had curry beef with vegetable rice which makes it slightly healther.
The curry was creamy and not too spicy while rice was crammed with a fair bit of vegetables. The golden dumplings looked a bit burnt but the dumpling wrap they used was a good one because it isn't too hard on the palate.
Inside, there was a fair bit of purple cabbage and the pork was so finely minced that you could taste it but didn't really need to chew it.
I appreciated the way the pork was finely minced so that there is more room for the purple cabbage.
For these dumplings there are about 6 sauces to choose from such as curry, Sichuan etc which are all shown on the menu.
I had the coriander sauce which was light and the spicy chili sauce for the other set but personally the dumplings are tasty on their own and don't really need sauce.
Will definitely be back as I love the portion sizes!
There are two branches but only North Point offers dine in while the one at Chaiwan is take away only.
To dine in, you have to order and pay for the food first before you can sit down.
