We did have a high expectation on this French/Japanese fusion restaurant before we go. It claims to have a beautiful view and creative cuisine with top quality of ingredient. So, we have the Lunar Valentine Day celebration over there on Feb 28. It is just a tiny restaurant with table quite pack to each other. Almost all tables are set next to the window, however, only 50% of the guests are facing the view and the other half have to sit with their back against the window. The view is fine but not
It is just a tiny restaurant with table quite pack to each other. Almost all tables are set next to the window, however, only 50% of the guests are facing the view and the other half have to sit with their back against the window. The view is fine but not splendid.
The menu is short but has a variety of fusion choice; i.e. Japanese sashimi, Western seafood platter, variety of fresh oyster, goose liver, Italian dishes and top quality meat; such as Kurobuta pork and Wagyu. They are all popular names you would find from most high-end restaurants. I realized I’ve made a mistake as there is no creative dish. I initially thought there would be some surprise taste for me by creative mixing of ingredient and food. It is just not that kind of experience. It is still fine as we are not fans of Nobu.
After a short chat with the captain, we ordered the following:
The bread
Served warm, crispy outside and soft inside. We encore.
Sashimi and seafood platter ~$368
A variety of popular sashimi was served with scampi and oyster in a plate full of ice. They are all fresh and tasteful. Size of each piece is thick enough to satisfy your desire for a chewy melting enjoyment. Well done!!
Cold tomato vegetable salad ~$78
The sauce was very tasteful, a bit sweet & sour with some texture but not greasy.
360 days grain feed Australia Wagyu - 8 oz >$300
The steak was served with mixed vegetable and baked potato.
No surprise although it was juicy. I agreed with other critic saying that it tasted as the one from Mr. Steak but charged at the price of Inter-Continental.

As recommended by the manager, we ordered it with 7成熟. I hesitated a while as I used to like my steak medium rare. Since he should be the expert and he said there would be有筋 if the Wagyu was too rare. I trusted him.
The steak was also served with mixed fried vegetable and baked potato. In additional, it came with a sauce on it.
It ended up to be a bit overdone in my standard. I think 5-6成should be better. It lost the melting taste in your mouth so I was un-satisfied. Though, the steak sauce was good.
心太軟 & 橙酒煮班戟
Dessert is acceptable but I did not find the 心太軟 as impressive as other said.
In short, the restaurant is, in deed, serving us with high quality of food but they do not charge less. In terms of location and environment, there are other choices. It is interesting to try once but we are unlikely to return.
