Went to Ichiran because I had a ramen craving.The staff were polite since the moment I stepped in and to the moment I left. However, all of them spoke in japanese so I had no idea what any of them were saying. The ordering system was very unique, efficient and easy to figure out (thanks to the signs). I liked it a lot.Now the food. The ramen there is easily one of the best ramens I've had in my entire life. I'm no ramen expert (having never tried the ramen in Japan) but the ramen in Ichiran was

The ordering system was very unique, efficient and easy to figure out (thanks to the signs). I liked it a lot.
Now the food. The ramen there is easily one of the best ramens I've had in my entire life. I'm no ramen expert (having never tried the ramen in Japan) but the ramen in Ichiran was amazing. For customization, I ordered rich soup, firm noodles, extra onions, and abit of pork. The ramen turned out absolutely perfect for my taste. I also ordered a half boiled egg and mushrooms as additional ingredients. The egg came in a smaller bowl and was cold all the way through. I put it in my soup to warm it up but it only became lukewarm. This was probably the only downside to my meal as the cold egg made me feel like it was just recently taken out of the fridge and presented to me. The mushrooms came in the soup and were a nice addition, though I don't think it did much for flavor, just added to texture. There was also free water, which apparently is special and they take pride in their water (just tasted like water to me).
Overall I had a great experience thanks to the great service and the (mostly) great food. I will definitely return.
