Came here on a Sunday evening expecting long line-up but got seated after a short 8 minutes wait, yay! The place was packed. I like how they have a pub theme and those red neon lights makes you feel like you are in Vegas more than Texas. After you got seated, you have to go to the cashier to place your order. U.S. Cajun Chicken Wings, 4pcs. $52 (4/5 stars) - The chicken wings were not as big as I expected but they taste great. The wings had a hint of spiciness from the Cajun seasoning, very crispy outside yet retained moisture inside. Also came with some "Veggie Sticks" at the bottom which were pieces of cabbage and celery. These veggie sticks were very fresh and crunchy, paired perfectly with the deep fried chicken wings! I think there was supposed to be BBQ sauce on the side as was mentioned in the menu, but I didn't notice it was missing until I finished, haha, oh well.
Smoked cheddar cheese burger, $83 for just the burger (4/5 stars). As you can see in the picture this thing was huge! I asked them to cut it in half so you can see the layers. The buns were soft and nicely grilled. The beef patty was almost 1 inch thick, very juicy and charred on the edges. The smoked cheddar cheese did had a smoky flavour but not prominent. In between the layers there were lettuce, tomatoes and some bourbon onion jam which tastes like a sweet version of barbeque sauce, added an extra kick of flavour to the burger.
You also have the option to make it a 3+1 combo. 3+1 = french fries, a piece of mustard pickle, citrus slaw and a beverage of your choice. Since I don't eat pickles and slaw, i gave them to my husband so I am not going to review them. The fries were awesome! They taste like those curly fries except not curly. They were well-seasoned and not greasy, one of the best fries I've had in HK.For the beverage, I had a bottle of sparkling mandarin orange juice which was tangy and very refreshing. They also have lemon and one other flavour I forgot. The 3+1 combo costs $31. Price varies depanding on what beverage you get. They also have soup if you don't want drinks.
