To start our new year, we decided to dine at a nice restaurant. We chose Cocotte because it had a set dinner menu for the NYE. It was $1,480 per person ( included was a bottle of Champagne for every two persons, which was a nice deal).First, we had a small "amuse-bouche" with foie gras. It was surprisingly good. Then, we had THE best raw cold smoked salmon I ever ate. We asked how they did it and the server said it was homemade with a "smoke gun". After that, we ate a big portion of beef sirloi

After that, we ate a big portion of beef sirloin, the meat was cooked exactly to my liking. Next was the poached Dover sole with a tasty sauce with Rose Champagne.

Overall, it was a great dinner menu to celebrate the NYE. The wait staff was very helpful and pleasant.
I would definitely return to this restaurant to try the usual dinner menu but also for the decor. It is chic and elegant but still has a relaxed vibe.
