Great food but cleanliness and service need work

Had a good meal at Lardo's last week, as always the food is reliable. WHat I wanted to comment on and I hope that the owner/manager will see this, is that the service levels are slipping compared to before and so is the cleanliness. The rail around the wall (dado rail) beside out table/face level was filthy and made me wonder about the cleanliness in the rest of the restaurant/kitchen... also, the staff were lack lustre and did not have a customer comes first attitude at all. The rail around the wall (dado rail) beside out table/face level was filthy and made me wonder about the cleanliness in the rest of the restaurant/kitchen... also, the staff were lack lustre and did not have a customer comes first attitude at all. In a small local restaurant relying on a small catchment pool of customers I think the management must step up their game. You cannot charge HK side / Central rates for a steak and expect people to eat in a dirty setting.
