It was my first time trying Kedai Kopi Semua Semua, and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was very polite and they served us our food quickly. The restaurant was also very clean and bright! We ordered the Baby Pork Bak Kut Teh, Beef Rendang Nasi Lemak and Squid Sambal Nasi Lemak. As for drinks, we had the Iced Penang White Coffee, Iced Longan Juice and the Iced Lemon Barley Water (all not pictured). As somebody who hasn’t really tried Bak Kut Teh before, I liked the broth a lot as it didn’t have a very strong herbal taste, which apparently it is supposed to have. The soup came with tofu and mushrooms too! I thought the size of the pork in the soup was very reasonable and you could share it with a party of three.
I had the Beef Rendang Nasi Lemak and I was worried it was too spicy, but it wasn’t thankfully. I really liked the Sambal Bawang because it gave the dish a flavor that it was missing. Sweet, savory and spicy! The beef was very tender too! And, I definitely would recommend others to try it! I personally thought that the amount you pay for this dish is worth the amount of food they give you. The portion is quite big so if you’re not too hungry, I would suggest sharing with another person.
I definitely will come back here again and try their other dishes, especially their noodles since they offer a wide variety of noodle dishes. 🤗
