This morning we went to elephant grounds for brunch, the atmosphere was nice and they had decent service. We didn’t have to wait very long for a table around 10-15 minutes. They have a large extended menu with all day breakfast food, rice bowls, salads etc. At the front there is a display cabinet with baked goods for takeaway. We had the tuna poke and the beef salad, the tuna poke was delicious, the tuna was small cubes of fresh raw tuna with radish, rice, sauce, other vegetables and toppings. The beef salad was not as good as the tuna poke, the beef wasn’t great it was a bit tough but the rest was fine. For the drinks we had a lemonade and a double espresso, they were both pretty good. At Christmas time they have some Christmas themed drinks, plus the long drinks menu. The price is reasonable for what you get. But I think that in the tuna poke they could have filled the bowl a little bit more. But overall I recommend Elephants Grounds and will be going back.
