Have visited Rubia multiple times and I've always had a fantastic experience.For lunch - definitely get the Rubia Gallega Ribeye if you're hungry. Lightly seasoned, you can get the full flavour of their signature Spanish beef - if you're into super flavourful steaks, this one's definitely for you. Lightly seasoned, you can get the full flavour of their signature Spanish beef - if you're into super flavourful steaks, this one's definitely for you. Every steak comes with their butter lettuce (which lets be real, i ignored), Piquillo Peppers (sweet red peppers that balanced out the taste of the steak), and their homemade handcut fries (let me tell you, i would return over and over just for these fries, no lie).
To go with your meal, I highly recommend the salted Padron Peppers - theyre healthy (ish) and super delicious. They also have Huevos Rotos (chorizo + fried egg + fries basically), an Octopus Gallega on Potato cream (octopus + mashed potato) and a range of different tapas if you're there with a bigger group and are feeling quite hungry.
As you can see, we ordered a ton of food for 2 people and finished everything because it was all so good. Of course then the food coma hit real hard after that.
If you're in the area for happy hour, I'd strongly recommend the Pink Gimlet (pictured above, its so cute!) and the Chocolate Negroni (didnt photograph), they're doing a buy 1 get 1 deal right now for some of ther selected drinks from 3-7pm (menu below).
Also the staff are all super nice and super knowledgeable about the drinks and the food - ask any questions and they've got the answers.
Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return.
