Conveniently located in Wan Chai, il Bel Paese is a great restaurant with great food and atmosphere, most suitable for family and friends gathering. The restaurant also sells a wide variety red and white wine, liquor, non-alchoholic beverages, and Italian seasonings and spices. The lighting is dim and relaxing, great place to chill after a long day of work. Tables are widely spaced apart, you won't feel cramped in a tiny space - really comfortable!
The menu is simple and clear (only in English). I highly recommend the Beef Carpaccio, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it :/
We ordered: Rissoto, Salmon, Homemade Meatballs Spaghetti, Carbonara with bacon, and finally Tiramisu for dessert.
The waiting time for the food to arrive was pretty quick, around 10 minutes only.
I wouldn't go in-depth describing the taste and texture of each dish because I am no expert. Overall, we enjoyed the wonderful and authentic Itlian food by il Bel Paese. We are certainly more than delighted at the service. Will go back again for sure!
