I enjoyed a great long lunch with OR friends @ Le Mieux Bistro. Most of them even took a day off to enjoy this lunch, haha, respect respect!!! There were 2 menus to choose from, one is $130 and one is $250. They are both 4 courses meal but the $130 one consists of some Tapas choices while the $250 one consists of some dishes from the dinner menu. I enjoyed a great long lunch with OR friends @ Le Mieux Bistro. Most of them even took a day off to enjoy this lunch, haha, respect respect!!! We kicked off the lunch with assorted bread, they are alright especially when I'm starving already, haha!

We enjoyed 2 wines today, the SB from Chile was refreshing to start off the meal and the Badet Clement & Cie Cuvee Prestige is a blend of Grenache, Carignan & Syrah, it's an easy fruity red that everybody enjoyed!

Next comes the Seafood Plate, the presentation is great! We have the Sea Whelk, Sashimi of Scallop, Slow-Cook Salmon and Angel Prawn. The ingredients were fresh but I don't really like the mixed sauce of gravy and wasabi, it's not a great match with the seafood and will definitely affect your palate! Beware if you try this next time!

Next came the Seafood Consomme, the Lobster Consomme is light and tasty but the pork dumpling in it seems to be a not so perfect match, maybe any sort of seafood dumpling would go better with it!

For the main, we have Roasted Australian Beef Tenderloin and Baked King Prawn. I'm surprised that the waiter didn't ask us for the how we want the Beef done so I'm eager to find out how the Beef turns out! When I sliced through it, I know that I'm not going to be happy since I like my meat medium rare but this is medium, aiya!!! The only response I got from the waiter was that Ricky decides the perfect timing to cook these meat to reflect the best taste of the meat, um, okay, what a reply, i give you credit for being creative but don't you think you should ask us first, at least there are 11 guests here, one of them would surely like their meat rarer right!!!!!!! Okay, enough rambling, back to the food, Baked King Prawn is heavenly delicious, um, I have to praise this since it's the highlight of my lunch, the mouse of the prawn is super tasty and the texture of the prawn is cooked to perfection! Therefore, this main is a love hate relationship, i just wish the waiter took more consideration during the order!

For desserts, the chocolate mousse with cream has really nice texture and flavor, um, good stuff! Next, I go conquer the Hazelnut ice cream and I can say it's really yummy, yummy, yummy! Can I have a few more scope please!!!

While we are enjoying our desserts, Ricky the Head Chef came in and start chatting away with us! He's a really nice guy, I'm sure many guests at Le Mieux Bistro enjoy his company and I'm sure he has loads of fans too! He also talked about starting a new Tapas Place in CWB, so watch out for his new joint!

And finaly, I have to leave before Tea & Coffee since my boss wanna see me, damn, but afterall, still a very enjoyable lunch, I did enjoy the food but some of the dishes have some flaws in it, either in the combination of sauce/ingredient or the waiter's lack of desire to ask how we want our meat done! Um, it's a complicated feeling! If you ask will I travel to Chai Wan (and I don't mean Chai Wan MTR station, you still have to take a Van or a Cab there!) for dinner at $500+, I might have to consider it seriously, maybe they will kick up a gear during dinner service but it's hard to tell whether it's "Le Mieux" or not!!!
