Seems like you should make reservations here for a weekend lunch, but I was lucky enough to just walk in and get a seat. Service is attentive...but let me get to the good stuff, the food: soups: choice of mushroom, pumpkin, onion or vegetable. I had the cream of pumpkin soup, while my boyfriend had the onion. Both were delicious. The onion soup was very flavourful ( I kept stealing spoonfuls), lots of onions, and had a chunk of bread with melted cheese. And the pumpkin soup tasted fresh, with so

Four pieces of garlic toast! Great complement to the soups.
I had the Jacky's spaghetti, a cream sauce concoction with ham, onions and basil/herbs. It tasted sooooo good! The pasta was cooked just right and the presentation was done well. Very tasty. I will definitely order this again.
My boyfriend had the angel hair pasta (cream sauce) with salmon fillet. I didn't get to try any because he ate it too quickly (a good sign!), and he said it was really nice. And usually he's very critical, so I'll have to assume it tasted good.
Then the BEST part was the dessert we ordered (paid an extra $15/each for this, but soooo worth it!): Ginger souffle!!! Came in a little crocker pot and was heavenly. After it arrived at the table, the waitress poked a hole in the top and poured in some condensed milk. The sweetness and creaminess blended well with the souffle and the ginger hint was just right. Very very very good.
Overall, the meal was hugely impressive over a number of western set meals I've tried in the area. Each lunch set starts at $68 (Jacky's spaghetti is the cheapest option) and includes, soup, garlic toast, main and coffee/tea. Then for an extra $15 you can get dessert. Highly recommended.
