Great meeting place, good food!

Bowls Cafe is a great place to meet friends for dinner. The menu changes frequently so there is always something new to try. I love their cream soups so I usually get the set dinner and the pasta option. Last Friday I had the cream of broccoli soup and risotto with mushrooms and truffles. Everything was perfect, including the creme brulee. Yummy! The set dinner was $118, which included very nice coffee (freshly ground), and an additional $38 for the dessert. Bowls Cafe is a great place to meet friends for dinner. The menu changes frequently so there is always something new to try. I love their cream soups so I usually get the set dinner and the pasta option. Last Friday I had the cream of broccoli soup and risotto with mushrooms and truffles. Everything was perfect, including the creme brulee. Yummy! The set dinner was $118, which included very nice coffee (freshly ground), and an additional $38 for the dessert. While Bowls prides itself on its steaks and other meat dishes, they will make adjustments and even specials for vegetarians. Nice! I find the service is usually great. I don't think you can get a better cup of coffee anywhere on the South side.
