📍SamsenTried the Sheung Wan Samsen branch. Good that it’s very spacious so the queue goes quickly during lunch hours. Tried their crab meat fried rice and stir fry flat noodles. Hmm what should I say, seasoning is rather bland(?) I think the only special point is about their wok hey. Otherwise, I don’t see anything too special. Would prefer the noodles over the rice. Tried their crab meat fried rice and stir fry flat noodles. Hmm what should I say, seasoning is rather bland(?) I think the only special point is about their wok hey. Otherwise, I don’t see anything too special. Would prefer the noodles over the rice.
For dessert, the pandan ice cream is yummy! Really silky smooth, not too sweet and still had a very natural taste of pandan! The toasted peanuts added a lot of brownie points as well! The mango sticky rice on the other hand was quite disappointing. The sticky rice was too mushy for my liking but portion size was generous.
I should probably try the wanchai branch instead for their boat noodles.
