Having a Me time in Cheung Chau, I had lunch at this restaurant alone for the third time. All the food was fantastic and the price was very reasonable.The sea snails in spicy wine sauce were appetizing and the portion was generous. The steamed shrimps with garlic were savoury. The mung bean threads under the shrimps with the hot sauce and oil were simply irresistible. Although it's off-season, the steamed eel with black bean sauce was great as usual. The eel may not be as lusious as the ones in winter, but the dish was cooked beautifully. The tung choi was not spectacular, but it still garnished the whole meal. With a bowl of rice and a bottle of cool beer, the lunch was amazing.
