Saw its green tea hotpot from the magazine week ago it looked so yuuum, gave it a try tonight. The chinese name doesnt sound like its a proper japs restaurant, but its a straight sound translation from its japs name.The online reservation only opens 1 day ahead. Once arrived, i let the staff know im here for the greentea hotpot and they reserved one for me. We ordered 2 sashimi, 2 hot dishes plus the hotpot were good enough for 2 people. Aji sashimi. Its very fresh thet can tell from the texture

Once arrived, i let the staff know im here for the greentea hotpot and they reserved one for me. We ordered 2 sashimi, 2 hot dishes plus the hotpot were good enough for 2 people.
Aji sashimi. Its very fresh thet can tell from the texture and the taste. Its a recommendation from the chef today and we appreciated it a lot.
Wagyu beef sashimi. Very nice net of fat and fresh and rich in beef taste, there wasnt any bad or bloody feeling of the raw beef. Very good!
Japanese egg roll. The roll was cooked so soft, rich egg flavour and the soup base was the traditional japs seaweed soup. Clear but rich flavoured. Came as very hot and very yuummy.
Layered eel bowl. We were so tempted by the eel bowl on the next table. And later found that almost everybody ordered one. Its served in a bamboo steam thg and once the lid was opened, the eel sauce smell rushed into the nose. The eel wasnt quite thick and fat, medium sized, laid in the middle of sheddered egg. Looked very good. Rice down there was all coloured by the sauce but it wasnt as salty as it looked. And since the rice were sauced, we didnt bother to mix the bowl like the traditional japs way. Yummy indeed!
Then finally the green tea hotpot. It wasnt too big, came with some fruits, mochi and 2 slices of greentea cake. Its so fun to see it boiling and dip our food in. Very rich taste but its just enough to dip all food, no extra was left. We are all very familiar with chocolate dip and its our first time to try greentea dip. Fun to have strawberry, blueberry, melon, dragonfruit and kuwi to go with greentea. Yum!!! I love the mochi tho. The soft little cutie thg to dip in, wipe as much as i could, then put straight into mouth, its so sweet and warm!
We think all food was nice and the staff were excellent too! They were friendly, helpful and open to talk to the customers, felt so warm there.
Overall we were very satisfied. Will be coming back again soon!
