I heard that this place is closing soon, so I wanted to come and try the egg sandwich. When I got there, I had a small heart attack cuz I thought it was already closed since there was a sign on the door and the store looked dark. But when I looked closer, the door was tinted and there were still people instead, thank goodness LOL. Not long after sitting down with three other strangers at a booth, the waitress came over with their drink and spilled it on the customer who was right next to me 😰 th
I eventually ordered the famous beef and egg sandwich with Horlick smoothie the sandwich came really quickly but the smoothie took a while so I thought they forgot about it and so I asked them if they were making it and the waitress said that they have a lot of smoothie orders and they make it one by one. The egg sandwich was delicious! The egg was thick and the beef was juicy. I loved the softness of the bread slices which soaked up the flavors of the egg and beef.
The Horlick smoothie was a throwback to my childhood :’)) I loved how they made the drink into a smoothie. It was so good, I drank it too fast and got a brainfreeze 😂. It was hard drinking it with the thin straw cuz the smoothie was so thick.
When I left, the owner was sitting at the door, letting people in and out of the cafe. He said “thank you” when I left. I hope he has a happy retirement 😊張貼
