This dinner marks my worst meal in 2022, and probably will be the worst Xmas dinner in my life (hopefully)We ordered a Xmas set course Waited for 40min+ until the starter arrived And it was, soupCOLD soup to be exact They weren’t full house, it was only a couple of tables with guests So I had no idea how they left our soup until it got coldWe asked for replacement, and they agreedIt was not bad, but definitely not appetising the bread came after the soup didWhich was disappointing But was still

And it was, soup
COLD soup to be exact
They weren’t full house, it was only a couple of tables with guests
So I had no idea how they left our soup until it got cold
We asked for replacement, and they agreed
It was not bad, but definitely not appetising
the bread came after the soup did
Which was disappointing
But was still considered acceptable, after all, it’s Christmas Eve
The real problem is the main course
We had all three choices on the table
And the turkey was dryer than the winter
I couldn’t say it’s better than the chicken breast I usually get after gym
Which costs maybe 30hkd
Seasoning was stealthy, I can’t even tell you if it really was there
Then it was the risotto
It was creepy
You can only taste sugar with corn
In that mysterious pool of white substance
If you had tried Japanese style corn soup before, I would tell u it’s like 5 times the sweetness of that thing, and the thing is, I don’t hate Japanese corn soup
But the risotto I hate
I had one spoon of it
Knowing that it costed me $300+
I still couldn’t put another spoon into my mouth
