Having bookmarked this restaurant for long, I am finally here. It does sound odd for me to ask my friend to dine with me here on a weekday. It was kinda weird for us to see people sweating or drenched in sweat on their treadmills while we were eating. Atmosphere-wise, they could have separated the two areas. Service-wise, the staff seem to quite familiar with the food they are serving. When I asked them about the weight of the extra piece of chicken, the macros and stuff, he can answer that righ
Service-wise, the staff seem to quite familiar with the food they are serving. When I asked them about the weight of the extra piece of chicken, the macros and stuff, he can answer that right away. 100g chicken and 30g protein. As a person who currently cares about the macros, I am pretty satisfied with this answer.
I ordered the energy bowl- bascically, i can choose my base, protein and vegs. I ordered the fish, two broccoli and sweet potato and extra piece of chicken (costs extra $28) to be served with kale, which does require $5 more.
Here comes the taste.
I was shocked by the size of the bowl and the portion. The broccoli were gigantic. I mean they could have chopped each one in half so I dont feel that pathetic when eating it. It was boiled so it tastes just like broccoli. Nothing to comment on.
They sprinkled chia seed on top of the fillet. It doesnt add any taste to it. I think they just use it to have a better presentation. They claimed that it was marinated in lemon and they served with mediterraen sauce on the side. And it tasted pretty nice. The fillet itself wasnt zesty or anything. The fillet itself was okay. Quite happy with the portion.
The chicken is like the packaged chicken which we could find in supermarket nowadays. Ummm, it doesnt taste authentic.
The only things that are flavoursome will be the sweet potato and the kale salad.
Overall experience:
Great option for one who cares about the macros and their diet. Healthier option indeed.
