Heard this restaurant is quite hard to book as they don’t pick up the phone…Turned out they have some good reasons why. Arrived on a Friday evening, being seated at the table along a ‘corridor’ of the restaurant right across the small kitchen. There’s really only one front of house staff who’s doing almost everything - explaining the menu, taking orders, filling up beverages, serving, clearing tables and much more…it’s understandably there’s no time for him to pick up the phone to take reservations.
The jumbo blue mussels could really taste the freshness and loving the flavour! I could really use some bread to finish all those leftover sauce.
The much anticipated caviar linguine didn’t disappoint! The prawn americaine sauce in butter was out of this world, love the texture of the linguine - highly recommend to come for this dish alone! The caviar was on point, they added flavour to the dish! Love it!
Octopus-clam risotto was good, a bit too watery to my liking, but there’s this magic I was craving for more after the first few bites. I couldn’t stop eating until I got too full. Most of the dishes were great but I would say the linguine was my favourite of the meal!
Wonder how I got my reservation? I walked in to book as I pass by the restaurant on my way home almost everyday!
