My last visit to Ho Lee Fook was 7 years ago. OMG… time flies. Really excited to go back, in this same old location, but renovated, with a new chef and new dishes. Sadly only me and my friend. Two ladies can’t order too much. Will definitely come with more people next time. Shredded mushrooms, cold noodles, cucumber, chilli oil, sesame dressing $128Quite refreshing to start. The dumpling skin is really thin and filled with generous amount of pork. I would like it more if it’s served with chilli oil.

This dish is difficult to go wrong. Come on! Glass noodles mixed with garlic and soaked with all those clams essences. But the aged garlic made it to another level!

HK style curry beef cheek claypot, red onion, potato, coconut cream, chinese donut $388
I wish I had a bowl of plain rice to go with this. Cheek is tender and juicy. The curry is spot on. And i have to comment the potato wedges. They deep fried it first before dipping into the curry. They absorb the sauce nicely! And the chinese donut! Crispy donut soaks in this rich curry sauce. Cannot stop eating this!

Wok fried clams, fermented black bean and chilli, crispy rice vermicelli $288
Comparing to other dishes, this is pretty average. The size of the clams are relatively small. Taste is ok. Tbe crispy vermicelli is good to go with the sauce.

Fortune cookie
Staffs are very friendly and attentive.
Heard they will start their champagne brunch on 4th Sep. Curious to try their dim sum next time.
