Hidden Cozy Cafe in the hidden Street

Artisan is hidden away on a street in Shek Tong Tsui. We cannot find Artisan and walked pass 3 times!....because the exterior wall maintenance covered the shop entrance. On a Saturday afternoon, it was not packed...3 tables was seated and we chose our seat near the entrance. Everywhere in the café is ornamental that can keeps your eyes busy. We cannot find Artisan and walked pass 3 times!....because the exterior wall maintenance covered the shop entrance. On a Saturday afternoon, it was not packed...3 tables was seated and we chose our seat near the entrance. Everywhere in the café is ornamental that can keeps your eyes busy. Our table is right beside the wall showcase of glass (personal collection of the owners), looking at it, it tells us how many places the owner went to. Beside me, there's also a chicken decoration. The café feels homey, a comfortable place to relax and spaced out after a hectic week, a good escape from the busy Hong Kong.

Brunch set was offered during the weekend from 12nn to 5pm. We ordered 2 brunch sets.

 On top of the English muffins was the nicely done poached egg surrounded by parma ham. The English muffin was soft and warm. Cutting open the poached eggs, the sauce slowly covered the whole muffin. With every bite of the muffin, it can be covered with the poached eggs and parma ham. Delicious! Waffle fries was hot too and not greasy. Mesclun salad is fresh.

 Waffles was evenly golden-brown. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The waffles taste was just right, not over salted or sweet. The mushrooms is very very delicious with a strong beef taste. I think they used beef sauce to cook the mushrooms. Every part of the mushrooms was covered with beef taste. Scramble eggs was well-cooked...succulent, soft and smooth.

For those who want a place to chill during the weekend, come to Artisan, it is the right place for you.
