We came with the Eatigo discount around 9pm. The restaurant is quite hidden so it was surprising to see the few tables eating with us at this hour.I guess most customers find them through Eatigo as well as they guessed where we were coming from without me saying. We ordered the chicken green curry, rice, sauteed baby cabbage and lime soda. After we had ordered our mains, we were served a seemingly complimentary shrimp cracker basket - a little on the stale side. The green curry was a little spicie

We ordered the chicken green curry, rice, sauteed baby cabbage and lime soda.
After we had ordered our mains, we were served a seemingly complimentary shrimp cracker basket - a little on the stale side.
The green curry was a little spicier than the usual green curry in HK but it was good, not too heavy.
The sauteed baby cabbage was kind of oily but the rice balanced that out.
The overall dining experience was fine, with minimal interaction with servers until the bill came...
When the shrimp cracker basket showed up on the bill, I asked the server who brought the bill. She hesitated and wasn't sure know how to respond and the waitress next to her escalated unnecessarily. She yelled in Cantonese while looking away as she continued cleaning up some dishes, "we couldn't tell you that it was charged if you didn't ask the moment it was served, could we? We're a very high-end restaurant! If you didn't want to be charged, you should have asked and returned the basket in the beginning!" There must be a better way to explain the usual Chinese-style restaurant charge than to yell at your customers... For a place with just average Thai food charged at a premium price, and a hidden location amongst many other eateries in Wan Chai, why not treat your customers better so they would return for a good experience...?
