Happened to pass by and felt hungry and had to grab a quick lunch. Saw this new Japanese Bento place and there was no line even during lunch hour. We quickly made the decision to give it a try. Both my lunch partner and I decided to go for the super evil 韓風芝士香辣焗雞 at a cost of $66. We didn't know how to operate the machine and luckily the person at the cashier helped us order and it was super fast to have our bento ready, and most important of all, they were warm.
A free Japanese drink or miso soup was included in the price. We each picked a Japanese drink - which were 100% veggie juice and 100% grape juice respectively. There were so many drinks to choose from.

There were no seats inside so we brought the food out to eat at the food court.

The rice box containers were very thick and looked of very high quality - not those you got from fastfood restaurants. There was a thin sheet of paper to cover the food. After I had lifted the paper, the food was quite nicely presented. First of all, the slice of cheese on top was so thick and it really melted into the chicken a bit.

There were 4 huge pieces of chicken meat which were all from chicken thighs so were super tender. They were not particularly spicy and were quite appetising. If there could have been more sauce, I personally think that it would have been even better. But they served some additional sauce like eel sauce and 燒汁 on the side at the cashier so I could finish the rest of the rice with the additional sauce. Talking about the rice, I was seldom a rice lover but I couldn't help not finishing all the rice because you could tell that they were really from Japanese, as how they claimed that the rice was 100% Japanese. They were so fulfilling and were of the appropriate amount of moisture which I really liked. Even the sides were of quite high quality. The sweet potato was thick cut and fulfilling. The green peas and cherry tomatoes were exceptionally fresh - you could tell how green the peas were from the picture. The Japanese-style egg and the 獅子狗 were reasonably good as well. There were some pickled mushrooms below the sweet potato which were so appetising.
In short, Japanese bento of high quality which was quite a good lunch option to consider. If you think about the quality, the price of $66 was not a bad deal.
