My friend said that she saw a new Japanese restaurant around K11 and wanted to try. Since I got off work early today, I went to have dinner with her there.After we ordered, the staff sent us the starter. When I first saw it, I thought it was beef but she then introduced to us that it is a tuna dish. The texture of the tuna was soft and smooth. Hokkiaido oyster was so delicious! It was as big as my hand. It tasted so nice with the spicy radish on the top and the vinegar. The texture of the oyster was smooth, it just slided down your throat. It was fresh and had a mild sea water flavour.

The assorted sashimi came next To start with, the mackerel had a bit of ginger on top and tasted so nice, the meat was solid and chewy.

Arkshell was my favourite, the sauce was so tasty. It had a bit of spice which helped to lift up the flavour. It tasted best with the seaweed at the bottom.

Japanese squid was quite special because they put a leaf on it. When I eat it, it had sort of like a mint flavour. The squid itself was slimy and fresh.

金目鯛 tasted so nice, the skin was cirspy after the chef heated it up and the fish was soft.

Asparagus salad with black truffle sauce was amazingly delicious. The chef barbecued the asparagus so they were very crunchy. The black truffle sauce was thick and flavourful. The salad was fresh and tasted very nice with the sauce.

The mushroom tempura was interesting. I had never taste anything like this before. They deep-fried the mushroom with the shrimp mixture. They use a special way to marinate the shrimp mixture so the flavor was very special. The tempura was delicious and crunchy. The mushroom smelled so nice, I could smell it from a distance. The mushroom was soft and juicy.

The squid rice, they put the rice inside the squid and cooked them as a whole. The squid was chewy and easy to tear off. The rice was so soft and tasty. It was my first time to try something like this because I am not a big fan of squid but to my surprise, I quite like it. The rice tasted so nice on its own and had a strong squid flavor.

It was my first time to taste monkfish liver, the texture was soft and quite rough. It tasted so nice with the vinegar.

I always love “Oden”, it is actually a mixture of food simmered together and served with hot mustard but I didn’t use mustard tonight because the soup was so tasty. Daikan – the Japanese radish was so yummy; they were so soft and smooth. I don’t know how long they cooked it for but the radish absorbed the soup’s flavor. You can taste it in every bite.
My favourite, Konyaku, which is a type of Japanese food that looks like jelly. When you eat it, it felt like you are eating hard jelly. I love the texture and flavor very much. Chiknwa is a form of fish cake in cylindrical tubes. They were soft and had a strong fish flavor.Fish cake was soft and easy to chew.

We finished up with the special dessert, almond curd. It was so yummy. The flavor was prefect because the almond flavour was not so strong, it was not so sweet and the texture was very smooth. The presentation of the dessert was nice, it was very easy to handle.

I will definitely go back again because of the high quality of food as well as the service. It is also a very comfortable place to chat with your friends.
