Went without reservations on a Thursday at 1. Service was prompt and sushi bar chef was knowledgeable. Chose a “chefs selection” of 15 pieces. At $500 a set, cheap it is not but the quality and quantity of sushi was a match. Highlights were a lightly seared codfish, cured tuna, and ikura. Only miss was the uni, which was Canadian. Meaty but very bitter. Of course, July isn’t a good time for uni but the smaller Hokkaido ones are still sweet this time of year. For $500, i would expect a Japanese u
