This time is the 3rd time coming back to this restaruant! Love their small dishes and a few sichuan style items.The restaurant is very spacious and quiet, nice big sofa furnitures and tables. Difficult to find these kind of places in hk now due to high rent. They also have alot of private rooms for small and big parties. We started off with a few appetizers. Minced bean curd with Shanghainese wild vegetables $48 - good. nice & dry vegetables Sliced pork served with garlic and chili sauce $58 -

We started off with a few appetizers.
Minced bean curd with Shanghainese wild vegetables $48 - good. nice & dry vegetables
Sliced pork served with garlic and chili sauce $58 - love the sweet soya sauce and the fresh garlic on top.
Beef and ox tongue and tripe medley $68 - average. had better ones at Red Almond Pork Ribs with Sichuan Spices - This was THE BEST dish i had last time, that's why i came back for it. The ribs were very tender and juice, the meat fell off the bone as soon as i picked it up. Spices on top were perfect, we even finished the potatoes on the side. However, it was not as good this time. A bit overcooked, and came out as a warm dish.
Hit & Miss.
Dry sautéed string bean $78 - Good! Also one of my favourite dishes. Just the perfect amount of meat, vegetables and spices. Deep-fried buns $40 - Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! I think I had 3 plates of condensed milk in total Conclusion:
Great dishes. However, hit and miss on certain items.
