I was a bit early for my appointment this morning and went across the street for something cold, as it was hot and humid, and I was perspiring.I suppose this café just opened recently and decided to try it, although there is another café couple doors down, and the daily brew there was quite good.Set down and ordered a cold brew. Set down and ordered a cold brew. The coffee came few minutes later, but it had few ice cubes in it. I asked the barista why the ice cubes, and the response was he uses dark roasted beans, and the coffee has a strong flavor. I might not have cold brew everyday but know that cold brew is served without ice cubes. I asked him to replace one without ice cubes instead.
I am very sure he just took out the ice cubes and gave me the same coffee without making a new one, as the coffee tasted diluted.
Also, HK$62 for a very small glass of cold brew is extremely expensive even for Causeway Bay.
Never again.
