This was a Saturday before Valentine's Day. My boyfriend and I had the kick off celebration on this Saturday lunch at Osteria. We booked the table at noon and we are the first couple arrived for lunch. The menu already changed to Valentine's day menu even the a la carte menu, almost all main courses and pasta were priced at $350 each. For lunch I can't take a whole pizza, even for two of us. I usually order wine to complement with Italian gourmet, nothing special for lunch. The manager Peter is very nice and he let us to have wine tasting first including Chardonnay and Gavi! I selected Gavi white wine by glass. It is a DOCG, fruity and dry body I love it....! Here are the courses: 3 antipasti platter : melon and Parma ham, salmon on toast and mozzarella tomato
The salmon on toast was great, crispy and tasty!!!! Melon is fresh and parma ham are the perfect match. Green minestrone with pesto
With mixed vegetables such as carrot, zucchini , green bean, celery and spinish Pesto minestrone is only available at osteria according to the server said. Pesto is made of nuts and herbs he said! It is an traditional Italian home made food! Sole filet, main courses
Sole filet is served with the mozzarella, average. Tiramisu

A second visit at Osteria and the service and food exceeded my expectations! Highly recommended for any gathering occations!
