Was very excited to finally try a character themed restaurant/cafe - we were in search of the DIM SUM ICON Gudetama steamed buns, but the hotel pointed us to this cafe instead by mistake (I didn't know there was another cafe!). We didn't mind though and were just excited to try out some different food.We had roughly 5 families in front of us in the line - yet we had to wait 50mins to get a table. They had two waitresses staffed that day and they were so slow to pack up and reset tables. At times
We had roughly 5 families in front of us in the line - yet we had to wait 50mins to get a table. They had two waitresses staffed that day and they were so slow to pack up and reset tables. At times, we just saw them lingering around playing on their phones in the office or at the back where the kitchen was. Regardless of that, when we finally got in and placed our orders, the food did come pretty promptly and they gave you what you asked for. The food was good, nothing amazingly wow but it wasn't terrible, but the plating was fantastic and so adorable.
Overall, the service wasn't great at all - but if you don't mind waiting for some overpriced food (we spent $100AUD roughly), the food isn't bad but the photos and the bragging rights are worth it. ;)
