Opened for 20+ years, Seki Tei is an izayaka in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, the simplistic wooden Japanese decor reflected its history, creating a homey atmosphere. Serving any Japanese dishes you can think of, the dinner began with a whole Kuromutsu 黑鯥 sashimi freshly flown from Japan, I liked how they seared the skin to give that oily smoky note. They also serve special chicken skewers like Chicken Skin, Liver & Heart. Along with delicacies like Crispy Eel w/ Yuzu, Beef Tongue & Tomato Pork Roll. The Beef Short Rib Steak was on point too.
Before you go, finish your beer with snacks like Deep Fried Horse Mackerels - so crunchy that you can just eat the whole fish, and Pickled Eggplants.
