It was almost 1pm, and it’s not very easy to get seat in any restaurants at the Elements Mall, and we need to get back in less than 1 hour time to catch our meeting, so we ended up going back to Wang Jai Sha. We waited at the reception area for few minutes and there were no one came to welcome us although there were less than 10 tables of guests. Finally we went inside and called someone out, but the lady told us to wait outside, and we waited because we can’t go anywhere else with long q. We
It was almost 1pm, and it’s not very easy to get seat in any restaurants at the Elements Mall, and we need to get back in less than 1 hour time to catch our meeting, so we ended up going back to Wang Jai Sha. We waited at the reception area for few minutes and there were no one came to welcome us although there were less than 10 tables of guests. Finally we went inside and called someone out, but the lady told us to wait outside, and we waited because we can’t go anywhere else with long q. We got seated and waited a while again to order. They were not busy; waiter / waitress were at the back chit chatting, what kind of service is that??? The manager (with suit) was there, but who cares? We placed our order and the waitress were just standing, writing or looking around impatiently without any eye contact with us. It’s fine, we just need a quick lunch, that’s what we tried to tell ourselves. We got our food, and the food was just untidily placed on the plate. We asked different people to refill tea, but no one was willing to do so from the beginning till the end of lunch. Ridiculous!! We are so surprised that such kind of service and food quality can be found or survive in such kind of elegant and expensive mall. This mall is close enough to the airport express station, the China coach terminus and many brand listed companies around, which means there are lots of visitors and VIPs. This really has ruined the image of HKG catering service.
