Finishing work late tonight and looking for some heaty spicy stir fry to reward my palate after a long tough day. What immediately popped in mind was Ho Ho Kitchen, Tin Hau branch. Thankfully grabbing their last non-reserved seat before the queue. Even the restaurant was busy, the only one staff still efficient and welcoming. Busy with orders, cleaning and take out orders. Finishing work late tonight and looking for some heaty spicy stir fry to reward my palate after a long tough day. What immediately popped in mind was Ho Ho Kitchen, Tin Hau branch.

Thankfully grabbing their last non-reserved seat before the queue. Even the restaurant was busy, the only one staff still efficient and welcoming. Busy with orders, cleaning and take out orders.

We made the order via QR code. We requested spicy lotus slices as appetiser, spicy cauliflower stir fry, spicy slice tofu in pot and stir fry beef with cumin.

Spicy cauliflower stir fry was in mountain portion. Each cauliflower was in big chunk. Smell spicy but taste mild. Crunchy and each cauliflower absorbed all the flavour. Big thumb up.

Stir fry beef with cumin was another big wow of flavour. Look dark because of well coated with cumin; surprisingly they mastered the balance of flavours. Even fully coated with cumin, it didn't overpower the savouriness and meatiness. It was just delicious. Beef was soft and juicy. In addition with the purple onion slices, extra sweetness was added. Perfect to serve with white rice.

Spicy slice tofu was served in a boiling pot which kept the sauce without easily set. Tofu was very different than the usual silky one and the block one. Its texture like fish cake while it had an aftertaste of soy. Pretty unique. Love how they put the Chinese chives at the bottom to boil it while absorbed all the flavour. Another drooling dish!

Last but not least, spicy locus slices were very appetising. Weird they served the appetiser at last. Nevertheless they actually spent time to thinly slice and blanching it. Locus was exceptionally crunchy. With their topped sesame gave a hint of nuttiness and the spicy sauce, it was mouthwatering.

It was a remarkable dinner with all elements filled, colouring, smell and taste. Absolutely flawless.
