But it turned out really sunny and hot in the afternoon😂 We decided to have lunch in Cheung Chau but had no idea what to eat. We both ordered its signature satay beef rice macaroni with iced lemon tea. Iced lemon tea came to table first. I gave it a 10 out of 10 cuz you know iced lemon tea served at cha chaan tengs could never go wrong💯🍋 Iced drink on summer day was like a savior, one sip brought you straight to heaven🥹🧊
Next came the satay beef rice macaroni. Satay soup base was super rich and thick, peanuts bits in it gave a nutty flavor🥜 But it tasted quite salty when I had more. Beef was tender, easy to chew and swallow. This was my first time trying rice macaroni, very chewy n I like the texture a lot. A big thumb up to it and would recommend you to visit if you go Cheung Chau😎
