There are not many hotpots in Sheungwan or Central so if you were desperate for hotpot then this is a hotpot option.Being in Sheungwan, the quality should be slightly better.For me, the broth is the most important thing because I love drinking the broth hence had the matsutake mushroom with black garlic broth.The broth was really tasty and the pieces of black garlic were sweet.Sauces are HKD30 per person.Blood jelly is one of my favourite items and here they had CHICKEN BLOOD which was firm.It d

Blood jelly is one of my favourite items and here they had CHICKEN BLOOD which was firm.
It didn't have much flavour so it depended on the broth or sauces.
The meatballs were good but my favourite were the pork balls as they were fresh!
They even had scallop balls as well which was unique.
I don't really like dumplings but the ones here do not contain Chinese leek/chives so they were very tasty.
THE LAST HOTPOT INGREDIENT WAS SIMPLY WEIRD BUT THEN THEY DID HAVE SOME SERIOUSLY WEIRD ONES LIKE CHARSIU BAU BUT THE ONE WE HAD WAS THE CUSTARD BUN AS WE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE FUN TO DUNK IN SOME SWEET THING INTO THE SAVOURY BROTH.
IF PEOPLE HAD THE SICHUAN BROTH, IT MUST BE STRANGE DUNKING THE CUSTARD.
NEVERTHELESS IT WAS THE FINAL ACT.
AS EXPECTED IT WAS JUST WEIRD.
Finished with a bowl of pumpkin puree, red bean jelly, raspberry and fig.
Might return for the other broths.
