A peri-clubbing quick meal. The place was packed actually (can't see from the photo hehe), there was seating downstairs but we managed to get the seats opposite the cashier so be it. Pretty noisy as one might expect but you get to see the dough-flipping action that's the trade-off.These 24" pizzas are probably the biggest in town! Luckily you can buy them by the slice. I got a Margherita Slice ($35, slices range from $35-$45 each), it was so large (larger than my face!) that I couldn't eat it the usual way of biting it from the centre tip outward, the way to go was to fold the pizza in falf and just...gulf! There were lots of tomatos and the sweet juices went down my elbows, the gooey mozzarella was hot like the crust, and I was super full after it!
The real drinks would have to wait and meanwhile, I settled with a can of Coke Zero ($10), can't really say it's a rip-off, it's Central after all...
(Forgot what my friend had)
After the heavy slices of pizza we decided to have a salad to cleanse our systems. Things wouldn't go too wrong with the namesake Paisano's Salad ($55). According to the menu it's got "Fresh-cut Imported Romaine Lettuce, Red Onion, Bell Pepper, Sliced Cucumber, Black Olives, Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese, served with your choice of dressing" - in our case, Balsamic Vinaigrette, complete with croutons. That was a kaleidoscope of colors (what a pity I didn't have its picture) and textures, and the veggies were sweet and crisp, with a spicy touch of red onions. The vinaigrette was served on the side, it was a bit too oily so we went light on it.
Soon we were charged and ready to hit the pubs! Yay!
