Before catching a movie at Mongkok, we planned to have quick dinner first. While walking past this shop, we saw alot of customers eating and decided to give it a try. Fishball Gor was located at Argyle Street, just behind Langham Place Mongkok. They specialized in cart noodles, offering a wide range of ingredients such as ball, vegetables, pig parts and noodles etc. Besides that, they sold sandwich, street food snacks, fin soup, noodles and drinks etc.
Lemon cola was gassy and refreshing, with slight lemon taste.
Iced soya milk was smooth and slightly sweet, with strong soy taste.
I chose cart noodles with few toppings. Thick egg noodle was cooked till chewy and wanton was very chewy and fresh, with real prawn filling in it. Minced fish was soft and smooth, curry fish ball was chewy and smooth and chinese chive was chewy and smooth as well.
Three stuffed treasures - I ordered eggplant, green peppers and tau fou. It was fried till soft and crispy, chewy as well. Soy sauce was provided to enhance the taste.
Deep fried chicken wings were fried till the skin was crispy and yet the meat was still smooth and juicy.
