I found my Banh Mi in here!

It's rare to find good Banh Mi even though there are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants in Hong Kong. The menu is simple in one double sided A4 page, unlike other restaurants. Although the menu is simple but it includes Pho, Bahn Mi and appetizers ...you name it. I'Annam House Banh Mi $68There are 3 Banh Mis to choose from but as one of us does not eat beef, we chose 1 out of 2.  There are 3 Banh Mis to choose from but as one of us does not eat beef, we chose 1 out of 2. You can request spicy or non-spicy, we ordered non-spicy. This place use the CORRECT bun! A lot of places use French baguette but this banh mi is so delicious
! The baguette is light, airy and chewy. First bite...we heard a loud "crisp" sound. The bun is very crispy on the outside and warm/airy on the inside..."thumbs up"
! Grilled pork is tender and moist. It was considerate to cut in half of the bun for us to share (we did not tell the waiter to do so).

 4pcs of Spring roll...crispy and hot with a chewy texture. The pho is cold with generous portion of sliced cucumber and carrots. Well balanced of pho and veggie.

 Coffee a day keep us awake and how could we miss Vietnamese coffee. It was served hot with condensed milk (top grey bowl). The waiter served a glass iced cup for us. We mixed the coffee with condensed milk in the mini cup first before pouring into the glass iced cup.


This place is warm and friendly, I looks like a family business. No 10% service charge on the bill.


FINALLY found "the one (Bahn Mi)" in here!
