Since the launch of godiva ice creams I have never had the chance to buy. I always rather go for the chocolixirs, but this store didn't have any. So we bought a Belgian chocolate cup and a strawberry chocolate chip cup to try.The Belgian chocolate was really good. It would've been easier to eat if left at room temperature for about 10 minutes first but never mind. This ice cream tasted exactly like quality dark chocolate but frozen, and was indeed very good. The strawberry chocolate chip /b] was disappointing for me. It was harder to scoop but that wasn't the problem. It was the texture - nothing like Haagen daz or Movenpick's creamy mouth-feel. The strawberry taste was also quite artificial as there were no real strawberry pieces but only a few chocolate chips. Home-made ice cream would've tasted better.
Nonetheless I still prefer movenpick + haagen daz over the ice cream here.
As there is a current promotion for the second cup at half price, each cup was about $35 rather than the regular $45.
