They now have a suggestion box at the cashier so you can suggest a flavor! Cool! Hoikkaido Snowflakes Classic Flavor ($58). This time I came to try something new that I had not seen last time I was here. A Hoikkaido snowflake. This came in a cup enough for one person and was basically like a Korean hanbing desserts. When ordering, it takes about 10 minutes to prepare as they make it on the spot. Classic flavor is the soybean powder version. The snowflake like ice was really soft and did resemble snowflakes. The dango was soft and not overly chewy. The azuki bean paste was not too overpoweringly sweet. Upon reaching the bottom of my cup, there was a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was creamy and a nice balance to the snow like ice on top. Juicy Honeydew Popsicle ($42). I saw they had a flavor I didn't try last time. This was honeydew. It was a juice based popsicle as opposed to the milk based ones like the strawberry and Earl Gray I tried last time. Popsicle was purely juice. I love juice based popsicles the most! And in the hot summer sun, this was PERFECT thirst quencher. Taste wasn't overly sweet but very refreshing as a melon should be. Great flavor. A great place to stop for a quick refresher in the summer. I would return again for the popsicles. Hopefully, they'll have the lychee one next time because they ran out.
