Nothing wrong with the food of the $761 discount set at all, actaully credits goods to the kitchen and chef! Good quality!BUT what REALLY NOT right was they kept reminding you, from the preordering of the set on Openrice.com to the moment you arrive and to the ordering of extra items (sake) and to we finally ask for the bill, that SERVICE charge has YET been included in the set. BUT what REALLY NOT right was they kept reminding you, from the preordering of the set on Openrice.com to the moment you arrive and to the ordering of extra items (sake) and to we finally ask for the bill, that SERVICE charge has YET been included in the set. Ok we totally get it and it is absolutely reasonable on the service charge, but since they keep mentioning it, I was actually expecting some "service" that would justify the costs. Then what happened, they were just in a hurry to serve the dishes despite we telling them nicely to control the pace as we wanted to enjoy our moments with food and sake we ordered... and whats more we were the ones who refilled and served the sake for ourselves...
Afterall we paid an extra $800+ for the sake, hence about $1500 per person for a luxury meal. I would sincerely advise them to reconsider whether them should offer any discount set just to ruin your own name in the end or to offer your customers valued services and enjoyment they have paid serious money for. Used to be a fan of the brand during Covid period but sorry this is a big disappointment.
