It started off with very decent drinks and a foie grad de terrine. It wasn't until the pasta and tasting platter that everything came to a steep fall.The pasta was over mushy and watery , and to know it was hand-made makes it more saddening to see it go to waste. The tasting platter was a mess. It was a combination of; slimey and weird tasting octopus, avocado covered in seaweed crumbs, a mystery-of-a-cold-spring-roll, and a weird combination of abalone and cheese. The tasting platter was a mess. It was a combination of; slimey and weird tasting octopus, avocado covered in seaweed crumbs, a mystery-of-a-cold-spring-roll, and a weird combination of abalone and cheese. The taste and texture of the food did not contemplate one another and certainly didn't stand on its own.
Aside from the food, the service was also disappointing as the waitress seemed clueless to the menu and unenthusiastic to be there.
Nothing worked well and my friend and I left the place feeling like the food sucked the happiness out of us.
Kudos to the bartender though. Drinks were
