Last week, my boyfriend pre-celebrated my birthday at San Francisco Steak House. I like its romantic ambience and decoration, nice and warm, but not too magnificent.

We're not very hungry that nite, so we didn't order steak. There is a reasonable priced set dinner with steak (only $4xx for 2), but we finally ordered a-la-carte.
1) Garlic bread - yummy!
2) Foie gras - I was soooo surprised that I could sample such delicious goose liver at an American restaurant! Crispy outside and soft inside, also not too oily, it's even better than the one I tried at Gaddi's, Zeffirino and some famous French/Italian restaurants in France/Japan/Singapore/Shanghai.
3) Baked potato skins - just so-so.
4) Seafood risotto - rich sauce (cream sauce in the menu, but I asked them to make it with tomato sauce) and fresh seafood.
5) Fettucine with chicken - My bf said it' good; I took only a mouthful of it, not bad.
6) Red wine.

Quality service!
The overall experience is good. Maybe the chef was in very good mood that night? Maybe we're too lucky that the restaurant just ordered some high quality foie gras? Goodness knows! Try your luck~
