There are many ramen shops in Tsim Sha Tsui and Takano Ramen is undoubtedly one of the best ramen place in the area. Takano Ramen is originated from Tokyo and was established back in 1996. It is a famous ramen brand that has won the hearts of local Japanese as well as tourists. EnvironmentThe TST branch of Takano Ramen is located in K11 Musea. The TST branch of Takano Ramen is located in K11 Musea. The interior features a minimalist Japanese design and is dominantly decorated with wooden features. There are a few bar-setting tables in the middle of the restaurant that has a small tree in the middle. It reminds me of the traditional Japanese courtyard.
Dishes
My friend and I have tried out their two classics, the SHOYU RAMEN and the PORK AND DUCK TSUKEMEN during our visit and both were absolutely delicious.
The Shoyu Ramen has a clear and flavourful broth. The broth is cooked with chicken, pork, niboshi and soy sauce and all ingredients are perfectly portioned and flavours are well balanced. I really enjoyed how the soy sauce brings out the natural sweetness of the fresh ingredients. The ramen noodles are the thicker ones that are made with buckwheat. The noodles are really chewy and eggy and most importantly, it coats the broth perfectly. The noodle is topped with generous amount of tasty ingredients, including two slices of slow-cooked char siu and a marinated soft boiled egg.

The other signature dish that I tried out is their Pork and Duck Tsukemen. The hearty broth was made with duck, pork, chicken and fish with a touch of soy sauce. The broth is incredibly rich and delicious. The noodles were the same as the Shoyu Ramen ones and were served cold to keep the al-dente chewy texture consistent. The Tsukemen is also paired with two slices of fatty char siu, fresh spring onions and a soft boiled egg. The toppings adds more flavours and texture to the dish and brings it to another level.
