Went there to try kopi luwak for $150 hkd per cup. It was very good coffee but it doesn't taste any more special than other fine coffees. Maybe my taste buds aren't all that discerning toward coffees.... Anyways, if you're there, go and try some for yourself. It is supposed to be the world's best coffee. You only live once! P.S. P.S. I find that to be true of a lot of extreme luxury goods. For example, I can tell the difference between $10 wine and $100 wine. However, I can't tell the difference between $1000 wine and $100 wine. I think that past a certain point, it is not the actual difference in taste but just the prestige or snob factor that drives sales of extreme luxury foods. Or, maybe my taste buds aren't all that discerning. Go there and try a cup of Kopi Luwak for yourself and judge for yourself. It is a great cup of coffee that is as good as the finest Kona coffee, but is it the world's best? You be the judge....
P.P.S. They have extremely good customer service. Their coffee bean store was closed but their cafe was open late at night. I asked them if they would open their shop for me so that I could buy 100g of Kopi Luwak for $1000 HKD for a friend as a gift. They said, "yes."
