I have been a regular visitor to Cenacolo since it opened at the end of November 2018 in Western. It is just down the road from the China Liaison Office. Whether for lunch or dinner, it has always been a great experience; and I come all the way from Causeway Bay to enjoy the food and the ambiance. Their steaks are perfection; and the several fish dishes that I have enjoyed were outstanding, including barramundi and salmon. A special mention must go to their antipasto which, as a starter, is a meal in itself.
There is a great little bar, which managed to deliver some mulled wine when it was a little chilly in January.
The manager, Dennis, makes a point of making everyone feel at home - that's a key reason why I keep coming back. He is ably assisted by Evan who, like Dennis, is a very cheerful guy.
Dennis and Evan used to manage the Al Dente in Jaffe Road, which has sadly closed (landlord putting the rent up). But I must say Cenacolo brings my dining experience to a new level.
And its easy to get to via HKU station exit B1.
