Japanese restaurant in TKO

It is Friday again, I went to TKO Popcorn 1 for lunch. We went to choose the MINI RICE SET for my lunch which is impressive. In this set, it included 1 udon, salad starter and a dessert, however, you can choose either 2 mini donburi  or 1 mini donburi with 2 skewers. I have chosen ROASTED EEL DONBURI & MINCED TUNA AND SPRING ONION DONBURI (My favourite). The staff brought us the starter immediately after we ordered our food, the main was to start serving after we finished the starter.APPETISER

This salad is served with Japanese sesame salad dressing, with a wood ear salad. For the wood ear salad, it tastes slightly salty and sour, and it is jelly like texture to make you appetising.

 Minced tuna is fresh but it is not fat enough but to let it melt in my mouth. It comes with spring onion and wasabi. So far so good~

 However, I’m quite impressed by this fatty juicy eel donburi. This is one of the highlights of this meal. This eel is fat and thick, matching with the hot Japanese rice, it’s perfect! There is also some seaweed between the eel and rice to prevent the rice from absorbing all the sauce.

This is a thin udon with seaweed soup. I think it is a bit overcooked cause the udon is not even chewy😥.

The set included a Mochi as the dessert🍡. Mochi is chewy and covered with sesame, and tastes sweet but simple.
