When I first came to Hong Kong, my foodie cousin took me here as my first introduction to the weird foodie culture that Hong Kong is. It was pretty amazing. The whole alley looked like you were in Japan. And you could order anything that was Japanese. At least what I knew of Japanese food at the time. I had not returned again.Flash foward present time. Flash foward present time. My friend booked a table for dinner here on Christmas Day. I was taken back to the past as I walked into the restaurant. My other friends remarked they had not come here for a long time as well. So, we quickly ordered our favorites from this place.
Apologies for the color of the photos. The restaurant lighting was red and I really tried my best to white balance it to no avail.
While waiting for the food, we were told that as it was Christmas, we could help ourselves to Christmas turkey with gravy. Good thing it was free because it was not only dry but the gravy tasted like stuff from a powder gravy pack.
